IPOB Moves To Protest Buhari’s Visit To The Hague

The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Netherland chapter, has embarked on moves to spoil the proposed show for President Muhammadu Buhari during his visit to the Netherland.

President Buhari is currently in Netherland for the 20th Year commemoration of the Rome Statue in the International Criminal Court, ICC, The Hague.

During the visit, he is expected to, among other things, attend a dinner hosted by Judge Chile Eboe-Osuji, President of the ICC.

Also, he will meet with the Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Mark Rutte and host a roundtable with Dutch business chieftains.

Other activities marking his visit include a tour of the Port of Rotterdam, as well as Shell Refinery Pernis, Hoogvliet.

However, to engrave a serious dent on his visit, IPOB in the Netherland is agitating that Buhari not be allowed to address the Dutch parliament as scheduled.

Furthermore, according to a statement signed the deputy National coordinator of IPOB in the Netherland, Mr. J. Jerome, the agitators want his stay in the Netherland to be cut short.

They are asking Netherland authorities that Buhari be expelled from the country over human rights violations, including the extra-judicial murder of pro-Biafra agitators.

Therefore, tomorrow being Tuesday July 17, 2018, Mr. Jerome is calling on pro-Biafrans in the Netherland to come to ICC in the Hague to disrupt the meeting.
