Buhari Seeking More Supporters For 2019; Meets Kwankwaso

Now that it’s becoming clearer that the ruling APC and the Presidency have lost Senate president Bukola Saraki and his loyalist, considering developments in the last 24 hours, President Buhari is seriously seeking for more supporters for his 2019 ambition.

Buhari met some senators led by Rabiu Kwankwaso last night.

The meeting may not be unconnected with moves to stop their defection from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the opposition coalition.

The senators were sighted at the presidential Villa, Abuja along with Jigawa State Governor Abubakar Badaru.

Kwankwaso representing Kano state is also believed to be on the verge of leaving the APC having fallen out with his state governor and former protege, Umar Ganduje.

The opposition is also strategizing to open their doors for the top politicians said to be on their way out of APC.
