THE crisis ridden Nando community in Anambra East Local Government Area of Anambra State has been charged to close ranks to attract projects from the state government.
The lawmaker, representing Anambra East, Hon Obinna Emenaka, told the warring factions at the weekend to sheathe their swords and give peace a chance.
Recently, the community had not known peace, following the leadership crisis that erupted, which led to the state government of Chief Willie Obiano dissolving the executive of Nando Development Union, to install a Caretaker Committee in the area.
As a result, the youths in the community have endorsed the caretaker committee in the area led by Sir Anthony-Mary Amali, urging various factions to team up with them to move the community forward.
The new leadership in the community with Chief Donatus Ajanma as the president, would lead youths of Nando, who had declared ‘no more war ‘in the next three years.
