Accord Party Sacks Doyin Okupe Over Saraki’s Job?

Some have wondered why Doyin Okupe, a man considered to be an experienced politician, would accept the job of head of media unit for the Bukola Saraki campaign when he (Saraki) has not won the ticket of the PDP.

But that’s the least of his worry now. The Accord Party on Wednesday expelled the former Special Assistant to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Okupe, over alleged anti-party activities.

The National Executive Committee (NEC) of the party said his actions had caused chaos and anarchy in the party.

His expulsion is coming a day after he was appointed by Saraki as the Chairman, campaign media council, of his 2019 presidential campaign.
